Ana Maria Vidaurre
Ana Maria is a Managing Director with Rubicon Capital Advisors (“Rubicon”) and is based in the Madrid office. She leads the Madrid office having worked in the global infrastructure sector for more than 20 years.
Ana Maria’s role at Rubicon ranges in advisory work focused on project finance, equity and debt capital markets, as well as M&A and private equity across a wide array of sub sectors in the global infrastructure and energy markets.
She was previously a Managing Director and head of infrastructure transactions in the Latin American region for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Through her role at CDPQ, she was responsible for developing and implementing deployment investment strategies focused on infrastructure assets in Latin America. In addition, Vidaurre’s role included the identification and targeting of strategic partners to undertake joint investments throughout the region.
Before joining CDPQ, she served as Principal Investment Officer for the structured and corporate finance department of the Inter-American Development Bank, and prior to that, served at CAF Latin American Development Bank. In addition, she is an Advisory Board Member at Harvard University’s Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure.
Ana Maria holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana as well as an MBA from ESSEC Business School.
