Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors has appointed Jesus Gonzalez Torrijos as managing director and member of the group executive committee based in its Dublin office.
Gonzalez joins Rubicon from BBVA where he has held numerous senior positions including head of global lending North America, member of the board of BBVA Securities and global head of infrastructure finance, both in New York and Madrid.
Gonzalez has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry as a specialist infrastructure and project finance investment banker and has either arranged or advised on over US$35 billion of investment in transportation, energy, renewable energy, environmental and social infrastructure projects throughout the Americas, Europe and Australia. Gonzalez holds a BS in Economics and a PDD from IESE (Madrid – Barcelona).
Rubicon is a full-service infrastructure financial advisory firm providing M&A, equity, debt and restructuring and recapitalization advisory services. The firm’s partners are industry experts who collectively have over 100 years of experience in the infrastructure and financial services industries and have either advised or structured over US$90 billion worth of investments in over 200 projects within the infrastructure sector, including a recent US$750 million equity raise for Isolux Infrastructure.
