Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors (“Rubicon”) is pleased to announce it has successfully completed its recruitment process with three new additions to the team: Ms. Loreto Alvarez Ojeda, Ms. Shauna Hogan and Mr. Odhrain McCarthy.
Mr. McCarthy joins Rubicon as an Analyst following his graduation from Trinity College University in 2013 where he obtained a first class honours BA dual degree in Mathematics and Economics. Mr. McCarthy graduated top of his class having been awarded both the ‘Bastable Prize’ and the ‘Louise Kennedy Prize’; the former marking the fact that he achieved the highest degree result in economics of all single/joint economic moderators and the latter the highest result of all joint mathematics moderators.
Ms. Alvarez joins Rubicon as an Associate Director and has over 7 years of experience in Project Finance working across various sectors (transportation, social and energy) both in Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining Rubicon, Ms. Alvarez worked on all aspects of project finance, inter alia bid tendering, financial modelling and documentation, through positions of increasing responsibility with some of the world’s largest infrastructure sponsors, including Iridium Concesiones (part of the ACS group), Acciona Concesiones and Isolux Infrastructure. Ms. Alvarez has also provided financial services to infrastructure projects as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers Spanish Corporate Finance group. Ms. Alvarez holds a First Class Honours degree in her Masters in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from IEB (Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles) as well as a degree in Economics from Autonoma University of Madrid, Spain.
Ms. Hogan joins Rubicon as an Analyst following her graduation from University College Cork in 2013. Through her studies, Ms. Hogan has developed a comprehensive understanding of financial mathematics including derivatives, computational finance, asset pricing and financial modelling. Having received first class honours in both of her individual final year projects, Ms. Hogan graduated with a BSc in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science.
